There are various textual and visual tweaks that you can easily do with the Gleap configurator without having to write a single line of code.
The welcome message
The first thing you will come across is the possibility to change the wording of the welcome message. Secondly, you can choose if you want to display the user's name and the waving emoji with a simple toggle.
White labelling
If you’re a Growth or Pro plan user, you can remove the Gleap branding from the widget by simply activating the toggle. You can find this option right under the welcome message settings.
Coloring
In the next step under the widget category you can choose a primary and secondary color for your widget. This way the widget will look like it’s really part of your app or website. Additionally, you can activate or deactivate the gradient in the background.
Logo
In the following section you can upload your logo. The logo will then be displayed in the top left corner of the widget. You can also set the corner radius of the widget to match your design and you can set the duration of the thank you message basically meaning how long the thank you message after a user submitted feedback will be shown.
Operator
In the next section under the widget tab you can choose a default image, which will be used as the avatar image for all avatar images not directly related to a user.
Custom CSS
Finally, you can add custom CSS to style your widget. Those changes will however only be applied to the live widget but not the preview in the configurator. Please also note that the widget structure might change over time and adjustments on the CSS might be needed.
These features should give you complete control over the styling of the Gleap widget to make it look your own.
