Message templates
Choose if you want to set up a news article from scratch or simply select our template to help you get started. The main difference between the two is that we’ve prepared a common feature update in our template so you don’t have to worry about the wording too much.
Create new article
Once you’ve chosen the right way to go for yourself, you can either start writing or adapting the article. On the top you can also set an image for your users to immediately see what the news is all about. In our preview on the left side you can directly see what your release not will look like. Give it a title, and add some content. In your content you can also add pictures, embed videos or add links. In the next step you can select the author of the update and choose if you want to notify users or not. If you choose to notify them, they will get a notification message via the Gleap widget. If not, the release note will simply live within the widget. In a final step you can choose the audience. Decide if you want to send the release note to all people, users or guests only. The difference between the two is that users are identified and guests aren’t.
Eventually, all you have to do is set the triggers. But that is a topic for a different help center article.
