Difference Between Slack Integration & Slack Channel
Slack Integration in Gleap:
Automatically posts a Slack message whenever a ticket is created in Gleap.
Optional 2-way sync: If enabled, admin users can respond directly from Slack. This is useful when an admin manages the Slack channel.
Slack Channel Connection:
Customers post messages in a Slack channel.
These messages automatically create tickets in Gleap for easy management.
Replies sent from Gleap appear as thread responses in the original Slack message.
Works seamlessly in a multi-channel inbox, allowing you to handle inquiries from multiple sources in one place.
This setup ensures all customer interactions remain structured and easily manageable within Gleap.
