Integration Steps

Follow these steps to connect your Gleap and Shopify accounts:

1. Open Gleap Integrations

   • Navigate to your Gleap dashboard.

   • Select “Integrations” from the main menu.

2. Add a New Integration

   • Click on ”+ Add new integration”.

3. Create a Shopify App to Get API Credentials

   • Log in to your Shopify admin.

   • Go to Apps → Develop apps for your store.

     • If “Develop apps” isn’t enabled yet, click Allow custom app development and confirm.

   • Click Create an app.

   • Give your app a name (e.g., “Gleap Integration”) and click Create app.

4. Configure API Access

   • In your newly created app, go to Configuration.

   • Click Configure Admin API scopes.

   • For Gleap to work, you need to give the app read access to:

     • read_customers

     • read_orders

   • Save your changes.

5. Install the App

   • From your app’s page, click Install app.

6. Get Your API Key

   • After installation, go to the API credentials tab.

   • Copy the Admin API access token — this is your API key.

7. Connect to Gleap

   • Enter your Shopify store name (e.g., myshop).

   • Paste the Shopify API key into the integration field.

   • Click Save.

Once connected, Gleap will automatically fetch and display Shopify customer information for relevant tickets.
