Shopify Integration

What you’ll need

• Your Shopify store URL (e.g., your-store.myshopify.com)

• A Shopify Partner account (to access the developer dashboard)

• The Custom App credentials:

  • Client ID

  • Client Secret

Permissions Gleap requires

Your Custom App must include these OAuth scopes:

• read_customers

• read_orders

We only request the minimum required scopes to power the integration.

Setup steps (create the Shopify Custom App)

1. Go to Shopify Partners: https://partners.shopify.com/

2. Sign up / Log in

3. Navigate to App distribution → click Visit dev dashboard

   

4. Click Create app

   

5. Enter an app name (e.g., “App Demo”) — the name doesn’t matter

   

6. In the URLs section, set:

   • App URL: https://app.gleap.io

   

7. Add the required Scopes:

   • read_customers

   • read_orders

8. Add this Redirect URL:

   • https://app.gleap.io/integrations/shopify

   

9. Click Release

10. You can leave the release name/description empty (optional)

11. Go to Settings for the app

12. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret

    

Connect Shopify in Gleap

1. Open Gleap Dashboard → Integrations → Shopify

2. Enter:

   • Shopify URL (e.g., your-store.myshopify.com)

   • Client ID

   • Client Secret

3. Save the integration settings

Once saved, Gleap will complete the authorization flow and start syncing the required data.
