The Region Policy feature lets you decide where your Gleap widget can be accessed. It helps reduce spam, comply with local regulations, or limit access to regions where your product is available.
You can configure your Region Policy in Project Settings → Security → Region Policy.
There are two ways to control access:
Allowed countries: Only users from these countries will see your widget.
Blocked countries: Users from these countries will be blocked from accessing your widget.
If you define allowed countries, only those countries can access your widget.
If you define blocked countries, users from those countries will be denied access - everyone else will still have access.
Go to Project Settings in your Gleap dashboard.
Navigate to Security → Region Policy.
Select the countries you want to allow or block.
Click Save changes.
The region policy applies globally to all users accessing your widget.
If both lists are empty, your widget remains available worldwide.
Some users may access your widget through a VPN, which can mask their actual location. This might cause the region policy to behave unexpectedly — for example, showing or blocking the widget for users outside their real country.
