The ask bar on the overview, and the Conversations page under Kai PM, are a chat with an agent that knows your whole feature-request board. It answers questions and, when you ask, changes things. It never changes anything without showing you first.
Available on the Pro plan and above. Each conversation is saved and listed on the Conversations page.
The quick chips under the bar are the common ones: Top by score, Most upvoted this month, New this week, Trending themes, Most-wanted, not planned, Planned vs shipped, Oldest open requests. Type your own in plain language:
"What are enterprise accounts asking for that we haven't planned?"
"Group open requests by score in bands of 10."
"Which requests mention the mobile app and were created this quarter?"
"Summarize request 4821 with its comments."
"Who voted for dark mode, by revenue?"
Kai answers from the live board, not from a snapshot. Counts default to the active board (everything not released or closed); say "including released" if you want history.
Find and merge duplicates. "Find duplicates" scans the board and returns groups with the evidence. Confirm a group and Kai merges it: the votes move to the surviving request, the others are archived and linked, and the survivor's score updates. Kai only proposes groups it's confident about, and only merges what you confirm.
Bulk changes. "Move every request tagged 'mobile' with a score under 20 to Closed" gets you a preview: how many, which ones. Say yes and Kai applies it. Up to 50 changes happen immediately; larger sweeps run in the background and Kai tells you when they're done. Status changes are silent; Kai offers once to draft a message to the voters, and sends it only if you say so.
Re-score. "Re-score requests that haven't been judged" or "re-score everything" queues Kai's judge over the board. Useful after you change your goals or connect a repository.
Reply to upvoters. "Tell everyone who voted for CSV export that it's planned for Q4" drafts the message, shows the recipient count, and sends on your confirmation.
Export. Any list or breakdown can come as a CSV: "export that as CSV". The file is built when you click it, so it's always current. Needs the Export permission on your role.
The chat can't build, release or delete. It moves requests between lanes, merges, scores and messages. Building goes through the overview's Build action; releasing goes through the release composer.
Tell it the frame: a period, a lane, a segment. "Top requests" is ambiguous; "top five open requests by revenue from accounts over $500" isn't. If Kai asks you to narrow a question, it's because the answer would be a list too long to read; ask for a breakdown instead.
