Signing up and creating a project: Free.
Commission: 10% of your revenue, e.g., €1 for a membership fee of €10.
VAT (Value Added Tax): Membership prices in Germany must include VAT. Steady handles VAT payments to the tax office. The VAT rate depends on the country where your members live.
Payment costs: 1% to 3%, depending on the payment method and currency.

Members can pay via PayPal, Apple Pay, credit card, or direct debit.
Fees from payment providers (PayPal, Braintree, GoCardless) are passed on, as Steady cannot absorb these costs. These are the payment costs shown above.
You can use Steady’s publishing tools even without offering memberships. This is free under the Fair Use Policy.
