A short screen recording often explains a bug faster than any description. Your forms can offer a Record screen button next to the screenshot editor, so customers can show what went wrong before they send the report. It's off by default and turned on per form.
In the dashboard, open AI & Automation → Forms.
Open the form your customers use to report problems, usually Report an issue.
Scroll to Screenshot & screen recording and switch on Enable screen recording.
Optional: change the Screen recording button title. It reads "Record screen" by default and can be translated for every language of your messenger.
Click Save.
The button now shows in that form. Each form has its own switch, so turn it on in every form where a recording helps.
Always collect screenshot attaches a screenshot of the page to every report automatically.
Enable screenshot editor adds the "Mark the bug" button, where customers draw on and blur a screenshot before sending it. When it's off, screenshots are only attached if Always collect screenshot is on.
Check two things. First, open the form your home screen actually starts: the menu item might point to a different form than the one you changed. Second, make sure Enable screen recording is still switched on in that form and that you saved it.
You don't need a form to get a recording. Workflows, Kai and your team can ask for one right in the chat: the customer sees Take screenshot or Record my screen, and the capture arrives as their message. This needs SDK 19.1.0 or later. The details are in Screenshots, recordings and logs.
