There are many ways in which you can reach out to users via Gleap. Chat messages, email, surveys, news, banners and push notifications. Here’s a brief introduction into automated messaging with Gleap.
Chat messages
The easiest way to send messages to users via Gleap is with chat messages directly in the widget. In terms of accessibility, chat messages are great because they work directly in your app or on your website. Set the right triggers for your messages so you can reach the exact users you want at the perfect time. If that is what you're looking for, head to outbound and chat messages. You can either use one of our templates or create your own message from scratch.
Email marketing
With our visual email editor, you can also easily send out emails to your users. Again, based on set triggers. Please bear in mind that our email marketing is not meant for personal emails only sent to one user, but for automated emails sent to a number of users who meet certain criteria. If this is exactly what you’re looking for, head to outbound and choose the emails tab.
Surveys
Automated surveys in Gleap allow you to collect valuable feedback and insights from your users. You can create and send surveys to specific user segments at predefined intervals or based on certain triggers. Surveys are a great way to gather user opinions, gauge satisfaction, and make data-driven decisions to improve your software. You can find more detailed information under Automated surveys.
News
The News message type enables you to share important updates, announcements, or news with your user base. Whether it's new features, product releases, company news, or other relevant information, you can use News messages to keep your users informed and engaged. You can find more detailed information under Creating & customizing news articles.
Banners
Banners are eye-catching messages that can be displayed within your app or on your website. They are a visual way to convey important information, promotions, or calls to action to your users. You can customize the design and content of banners and set triggers to display them to specific user segments or at specific times. Read more about our brand new banners on this article: Banners
Push Notifications
Push notifications are messages that can be sent directly to users' devices, such as smartphones or web browsers, even when they are not actively using your app or website. These notifications can be used to deliver time-sensitive information, updates, alerts, or reminders. Gleap allows you to create and send push notifications to reach users effectively.
